I demand awesomeness!
So, did you figure out how to make a drawing look more dynamic? What makes a drawing seem like its dynamic?

Lens flare! It was Lens flare!!

JK,
it's by creating the illusion of motion (with the help of linework, motion blur or vice versa) and/or anticipation poses. The later is the point in movement where a dramatic change in the motion is happening, similar to the impact of a rubber ball on a solid surface when it warps into an eggy shape before lifting off into the air. It is often used in animation to make it more alive, but it is also important in illustrations.
